"I'm writing to share my story of resilience and determination in the face of adversity. Growing up in a low-income household, I've seen my family struggle to make ends meet. My father, a dedicated gardener aged 76, earns a monthly salary of ₦30,000, while my mother, a selfless primary school teacher aged 58, works tirelessly for her monthly salary of ₦75,000. My elder sister, a primary school teacher, also supports us with her monthly salary of ₦40,000. Despite my parents' advanced age, they work hard to provide for our family. However, my mother's debilitating lumbar spondylolysis has added to our financial burdens, making every day a challenge. I've completed my O'levels at Oshodi Senior High School and aspire to attend the prestigious Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for my nursing education. However, the fees seem insurmountable. My sister's and my parents' motivation and support have been a constant source of encouragement. They believe in me and my abilities, and I'm determined to make them proud. In addition to my nursing education, I also aspire to acquire skills in fashion design. However, the costs are beyond our means .My vision is to become a well-established fashion designer, excel in my nursing career, and also help those in my present predicament when I become successful.
